Understanding the funding landscape

Rebecca is very knowledgeable about philanthropy. Our strategic discussion was very helpful to our understanding of the opportunities available for us.

Instrumental support

Rebecca Andruska has been an instrumental individual in my career trajectory. Her resume review and recommendations have helped me stand out and get interviews. She has helped me prep for interviews, increasing my confidence level and challenging me to ask the questions that help me convey my thoughtfulness while simultaneously gathering critically important information about the organization with which I was interviewing. Rebecca listens deeply and actively, and she provides sound advice and wise counsel. She knows her stuff, and she makes it plain, which I appreciate. I have already recommended her resume review, writing, and interview prep services to friends and colleagues, and I will continue to do so in addition to using her myself.

Another successful bake sale!

The bake sale was a huge success! I had my fundraiser on May 2nd during the lunch period at my school and it was such an amazing experience. I had five different items for sale and by the time all the grades had gone to lunch I was sold out! I earned $85.51 and I plan to donate to Oxfam an organization that helps rebuild school buildings in disaster relief zones. I could not have done this without your help. Your insightful answers to my interview questions were so helpful and were greatly appreciated. Once again I just wanted to thank you one more time for all your help and consideration.

Successful self-promotion

I approached Do Better Consulting because I needed help highlighting my skills, experience, and desire to serve my community to potential employers. Thanks to Rebecca’s services, I have worked in nonprofits and public libraries.

Balance of day-to-day and strategic thought partner

We worked with Do Better Consulting on a project that needed a strong, organized manager to make sure that everything ran smoothly as we set up a new local nonprofit. Not only did Rebecca address our immediate needs around scheduling, file management, and timeline development, she went above and beyond to record our evolving operations in order to effectively onboard the incoming CEO. She anticipated our day-to-day needs and was a strategic thought partner for the overall management of the organization. We highly recommend her as a consultant advisor to your organization.
